In pre-k today, the class continued their unit about plants and had an exciting hands-on activity where they planted sunflowers. 🌻The students learned about the life cycle of a plant, from seeds to fully grown flowers, and got to explore the different parts of a sunflower. Each child had the chance to plant their own sunflower seed in a small pot, learning how to carefully place the seed in the soil and water it. This activity not only taught them about the importance of taking care of plants but also instilled a sense of responsibility and patience as they wait for their sunflowers to grow.
